We Can Fix It: Home Maintenance Education for Women
“We Can Fix It,” designed by LaborWorks Onsite Project Manager Morgan Overable, is a hands-on, deep-dive into the household structures and mechanisms that frequently drive renters and homeowners to their wits ends.
Youth Employment Initiative
This is the idea: employ six youths (in their first work opportunity) and a supervisor from Northwest Rutland and teach them to prepare local vegetables and fruits into healthy, yummy food for sale or donation. We cook in the commercial kitchen at the Vermont Farmers Food Center.
Project VISION is a coalition of a diverse group of community members and local organizations in Rutland, Vermont that seeks to empower our community, strengthen our neighborhoods, and change the future.
The PhotoVoice Project gave nine neighborhood residents the chance to tell what is happening in this neighborhood through their eyes.
